Where to stay to play the Vilamoura Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium: official partner hotels beside the courses, a budget aparthotel by the Old Course and the best marina hotels, with drive times and golf perks.
Vilamoura is the Algarve's biggest golf destination, with four courses open to visitors within a few minutes of each other: the Old Course, Frank Pennink's 1969 classic through the umbrella pines, its neighbour Pinhal, and the newer Laguna and Millennium courses, which share a clubhouse on the west side of the resort. The fifth course, the Victoria at The Els Club, is now a private members' club.
This guide covers the best golf hotels near Vilamoura: two official partner hotels right beside Pinhal, a budget aparthotel a short walk from the Old Course, and well-rated hotels around the marina, all within about 15 minutes of the first tee.

The black pins are the four courses (tap one to see course details). Laguna and Millennium share a clubhouse, so their pins sit together. The blue pins are the hotels in this guide; tap one to check prices and availability.
We include a hotel if it is rated at least 8 out of 10 on Booking.com, or at least 7.8 if it offers specific golf services, and is within about 15 minutes of the courses by road. Drive times are calculated by road, not in a straight line. Golf services come from each hotel's own website wherever possible, and we only mention a golf perk if we could find it stated.
Prices are the lowest nightly rates we could reliably find in October 2026, so expect more in spring and summer. Check current rates with the link.
